[PetiteCloud] ideas on why this is happening

Do you have selinux disabled? If not have you looked to see if selinux 
is interfering somehow? if so we may have to recommend temporarily 
disabling selinux until we can get a selinux policy created or even 
added to selinux default policy scheme.
